Psychology Master’s Conference

On Friday, May 31, 2024, the Psychology Master’s Conference 2024 will take place at UP FAMNIT. The event is organized by the Department of Psychology at the University of Primorska, in collaboration with the Departments of Psychology at the University of Ljubljana and the University of Maribor, as well as the National Committee for the EuroPsy Certificate.
The aim of the conference is to provide psychology students from the University of Primorska, the University of Ljubljana, and the University of Maribor, who are completing their studies, with an opportunity to present their research work, and to encourage discussion and collaboration among psychology students from different universities.
The conference will represent an excellent opportunity to share work with peers, network, and learn from one another. It will also serve as a valuable opportunity for promoting science more broadly.
Several different presentation formats are welcome at the conference—interested students can choose the one most appropriate to their level of study or current stage of research:
- Master’s thesis proposal presentation: This presentation includes the theoretical background of the thesis, its purpose or objectives, research questions or hypotheses, and the planned methodology. Students who are in the process of collecting data or conducting initial data analysis may also include preliminary results.
- Master’s thesis results presentation: In addition to the elements listed above, this format also includes results and their interpretation.
- Presentation of research work within doctoral studies
Please submit your proposed contribution as soon as possible, but no later than May 10, 2024. Even if you plan to attend the conference only as a listener, you are kindly asked to register by the same date. Participation in the conference is free of charge.
