Fantastic Beasts and Where to Capture Them

Pupils and teachers from primary and secondary schools will have the opportunity to take part in a workshop entitled “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Capture Them,” where children will learn how to collect and use data on wildlife. The scientific application SRNA, developed within the Step Change project and intended for collecting data on wildlife, will also be presented. During the workshop activities, pupils will become familiar with the principles of citizen science and learn how to record data on the presence of wildlife using the SRNA application, as well as how to use camera traps to monitor wild animals.
