Conversations with UP Alumni: Connecting Science with Everyday Life | UP FAMNIT – From the First Lines of Code to a Master’s Thesis: Two Stories from FAMNIT
26. June, 2025,10:00 - 11:30

We invite you to an alumni event where two former students, Karolina Trajkovska and Arsen Matej Golubvikj, will present their academic journey at UP FAMNIT—from the beginning of their undergraduate studies in Computer Science to the completion of their master’s degrees. They will share their experiences in selecting topics for their bachelor’s and master’s theses and describe how they approached research work, how they dealt with challenges, and what they learned along the way. The event is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in an academic path in the field of computer science, as well as for connecting with the UP FAMNIT alumni community.
(The event will be held in English.)
Events organised by the Alumni Office team, involving alumni and professors from specific faculties, aiming to create a dynamic environment for meaningful discussions on contemporary and relevant topics, including fake news and conspiracy theories. The six sessions will take place throughout the year, with a moderator leading a structured discussion at each session, after which we will open the floor for questions from the audience and further informal conversation over a reception to follow.
