Getting to know statistics and the data cycle through games
22. September,09:00 - 13:00
In this workshop we will use games and examples to introduce statistical concepts to children. Participants will learn the fundamentals of statistics and acquire basic skills for data analysis through play. The workshop is designed for children from grade 1 to grade 3 that will encounter the data cycle: they will define a research question, and based on this question they will collect data, describe them, analyze them and interpret the results. The aim of the workshop is to stimulate the curiosity of children about the world around them through data exploration and discovery in a fun and interactive way.
