Proprioceptive Training
26. September, 2025,08:00 - 16:00

Participants will receive a short introductory lecture where they will learn about the importance of proprioception and trunk stabilization in everyday movement and rehabilitation. We will present how our body perceives its position in space and why this is important for balance, sports, and recovery after injuries. This will be followed by a practical demonstration of using a laser device for training cervical proprioception. Participants will learn how a laser mounted on the head provides feedback on neck movement control and improves the sense of orientation. They will also be able to try the device themselves through an engaging challenge: tracing letters and shapes with a laser placed on top of the head.
Next, we will demonstrate the use of a biofeedback unit for trunk stabilization, through which individuals train the correct activation of deep abdominal muscles. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a practical test, where they will use a sensor to try to maintain optimal pressure while activating the muscles. At the end, a short discussion will follow on the role of these technologies in physiotherapy and sports training, with participants encouraged to actively participate and ask questions.
