Spirituality is an important aspect of older people, especially those living in the nursing homes. Nursing staff have a key role in identifying, meeting spiritual needs and providing spiritual care. Therefore, in the lecture, we would like to explain why spirituality is so important during the aging, and we would like to emphasize the role of the nursing staff in the nursing homes.

Senior Lect. Nataša Mlinar ReljićNataša Mlinar Reljić is a senior lecturer at UM Faculty of Health Sciences. She participates in the pedagogical process in the field of health sciences. She is the holder of the Teaching Units Health Care in the field of geriatric with optional clinical training and Spiritual care in nursing care. Since 2017 she has been the Head of the Department of Nursing. She is a doctorate student who studies the spiritual aspects of nursing. She is the author of several original scientific articles and chapters in the monograph. |
